Happy New Shoe Year

Happy New Years, Sexies,

As you know sparkle and shine are very much in vouge  this holiday season.  However, sparkle and shine does come at a cost.

During the Christmas holiday My Bling specialist, Randy Barnes gave me a beautiful sequin dress
which was perfect to bring in the New Year.  However now I had to find shoes and of course a bag to match.

Yes I had shoes that would go perfect with the dress however, a new dress needs new shoes.

One pair of shoes and a bagette caught my eye.

The shoes were Miu Miu by Prada and the evening bag was Judith Lieber Couture.  The shoes had a price tag of $1,280 and were completely sold out and the purse was $2995.00.  This is where I practice what I preach.

Whereas I would love to spend $4,275 on accessories alone...That's just not feasible to me.

What I did have, however, was a desire to have a little sparkle and now my heart was set on the look.

In January I bought a pair of shoes that I hadn't had the chance to wear just yet and they were a similar style. They also cost me a whomping $2.66 from DSW's clearance rack with a few discounts.  I found crystals from Amazon (zbella #23) for $11.90 and decided to create my own look.

I had to get a little more creative with the bag.  With enough crystals to cover a bag I didn't have a form to get that square form, well not until I found an old box.

I soaked the box to remove the label and scraped away any excess glue.

I then painted the box and applied the excess crystals.  I paid approximately $2.50 for the paint and $2.00 for the additional beads.
At any rate my look is complete and I can't wait to wear it.  I paid a total of $19.06 and saved about $4,255.94.  That should make for a very Happy New Year.

Following you will find some high priced bling, However keep in mind you can always create your very own unique look that belongs to you and you alone.

Happy New Year,  Sexies and Happy Shoe Shopping.
