I can still remember playing in my mothers shoes as a young girl. My mom had such great style. I definately got my love of shoes from her.

At the age of 77, my mom and I would give one another shoe fashion shows. This was somthing my sisters never really understood. However, this was our bonding moment. We were in our own little shoe world, oooing and awing like little school girls.
As shoe styles changed, I began seeing some of my moms older styles come back around. I had to purchase them immediately. Yet, I couldn't help but think that if I could've fit her shoes, I would have been way ahead of the game. Alas I will never be big enough to fill my mothers shoes. Literally and figuratively. She was really something quite special.
So here are some of todays styles inspired by vintaged fashions from the 1950's, 60's and 70's.
Everything old is new again and currently on trend.
Happy Shoe Shopping.
