I can still remember playing in my mothers shoes as a young girl. My mom had such great style. I definately got my love of shoes from her. In fact when she was 77 years old, we would give one another shoe fashion shows. My sisters never really understood this bonding moment, but we were in our own little shoe world, oooing and awing like little school girls.
As shoe styles changed, I began seeing some of my moms older styles come back around. I had to purchase them immediately. Yet, I couldn't help but think that if I could've fit her shoes, I would have been way ahead of the game. Alas I will never be big enough to fill my mothers shoes. Literally and figuratively. She was really something quite special.
